Very popular drilling burr tools used by Jewelry Designers for drilling holes in Beach Sea Glasses, Stones, Rocks for making Necklaces, Earrings, Pendants and Bracelets. Drilax tools have multiple layers of fine industrial diamond particles bonded to the tips which provides for longer drill life. Drilax tools are excellent for drilling through materials up to 1/2" thick. These Bits can be used in any high speed Dremel-Type Rotary Tool or Small Precision Drill Press with a 3/32" collet or adjustable collet.

Instructions

Holding the Dremel or other driller in hand rather than using a drill press is recommended.

Build a mini pool of water with plumbers putty or submerge the material in water.

Start the hole at an angle. While holding the drill in hand, carefully move the drill around just enough to ream out the sides of the hole. Let the tool do the work.

You have a lot of drill bits in the case, you can spare a few broken bits.
